We all use music in our day to day life. When we are unable to articulate how we feel or need motivation to take on the day, music is always there. So it makes complete sense to draw on music within the therapeutic process.
Throughout my life I often felt a deep connection to music, resonating with the emotions it invoked in me. I realised that music often created the landscape for me to process emotions, challenging life events, and even trauma. I needed to know more… and so my journey to becoming a music therapist began.
